For this final week of American Idol, the two finalists were asked to perform 3 songs. The songs were picked by Clive Webber who also coached them during their rehearsals. After the two performed, it was clearly visible that Simon Cowell was very much in favor of David Archuleta. In the first round, he told Archuleta that “This round is to Archuleta†and only commented David Cook’s performance as “phenomenalâ€. The comment Archuleta got on the second round was pretty much the same as what he got in the first round but Simon told David Cook that the song he sang was “ok!â€.
