Hollywood has been anything but static. It has changed from being an agricultural community in the 1870’s and forty years later, it became a commercial industry, with banks, restaurants, clubs and movie palaces – all catering to the demands of the growing film industry.
A few decades pass and now Hollywood is redefined. Work remained in Hollywood – offices, recording studios and the like still remained in the area, but restaurants and elegant shops moved away (to Beverly Hills) along with the stars.
